Velveteen Queen Cocktail Ring
This cocktail ring is from my collection of heart themed jewellery. The pieces are carved in jewellers wax then cast in Nordic Gold Bronze. Then the pieces are set with cubic zirconias.
The ring has been designed to have a chunky, raw and sculptural style to it with carving marks and texture deliberately left in.
What is Nordic Gold..
Nordic gold is a form of bronze that was developed in 1991 at the behest of a Scandinavian government who wanted to produce a coin that imitated gold and was resistant to tarnishing and so Nordic gold was born and a byproduct of its development is that it is also highly hypoallergenic .
